Meet the Therapy Team

Dr Louise Hendry
Head of Therapy & Lead Clinical Psychologist
Louise is Head of Therapy for Zen Care & Education and is responsible for developing and embedding our Safe Steps therapeutic approach across the business.
Louise is registered with the HCPC and holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and an MSc in Developmental Disorders. Louise has specialized in supporting Children within the Care system and the teams who work with them. She began her career as a Residential Support Worker/Deputy Manager in solo residential homes, and as a Clinical Psychologist she has worked with Local Authorities and nationally based Residential Care Providers to provide systemic trauma informed care. She has also authored a peer reviewed article based around the impact of training for Residential Support Workers. She believes in the importance of supporting the supporters to provide young people with the loving care experiences they deserve.
Mark Redgrave
Psychotherapist
Mark is the Psychotherapist providing therapeutic input to our homes. He is registered with the HCPC, BACP and BAAT, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy (1989) and an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy (1999). Over the years he has worked therapeutically with children, young people and staff teams in a wide range of settings, including social care, the NHS, schools, Residential Care and private practice. For Mark, therapeutic care involves listening to the child's voice, understanding the meaning and motivation behind the child's behaviour and helping the child to develop their own reflective function, and he supports our teams to achieve these aims.
Holly Connaire
Assistant Psychologist
Holly supports the teams in the homes alongside Mark and also supports Louise with service development, evaluation and quality improvement. She holds a BA(hons) is Psychology and an MSc in Child Development & Well-being in Practice. Her MSc research looked at the way residential care workers develop connected relationships with young people in their care. She is an experienced Assistant Psychologist who has supported children and teams working in Residential Care and Education settings. She believes in the power of healing relationships and is hoping to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology where she can bring a psychological understanding to support young people.
